Downpayment Assistance Program (DAP)
The Downpayment Assistance Program (DAP) is
administered by Harris County Community and Economic
Development Department and Southeast Texas Housing
Finance Corporation that assist income eligible and
first time homebuyers achieve
the "American Dream" of homeownership. They provide
downpayment assistance for new single-family
residential homes.
Funding for this program is made available through
Harris
County's HOME Investment Partnerships Program,
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and Tax
Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) funds.
Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation (SETH) has
Ft Bend, City of Pasadena, Montgomery County, Austin,
Chambers, Matagorda, Waller, Walker, Wharton, all of
Galveston County, but outside of the incorporated
cities of City of Galveston, Cleveland, Katy, Sugar
Land, Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Oakridge, Panorama
Village and Missouri City.
